I was born in Trezevant, Tennessee on February 20, 1958 to Charles and Ann Galey. I have one sister, Leigh Ann Reynolds.

I was raised in a Christian home. We attended First Baptist Church of Bradford, TN. I asked Jesus into my heart when I was 9 years old. I was baptized on my birthday—later I realized what a special “birth”-day it really was in my life.

I graduated from Bradford High School in 1976 and from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1979 with a major in Business Administration.

I was lucky enough to be able to marry my “first love”. I met my husband at UTM. Randy was raised in a fine Christian home. His family attended Poplar Grove Baptist Church in Trenton, TN. Randy and I married in 1981. The Lord blessed us with two wonderful sons--Jonathan (1984) and Benjamin (1988). Randy & I have strived to raise our sons in a Christian atmosphere with God’s guidance. We felt God leading us to First Baptist Church, Trenton. God has truly blessed this decision.

I am employed full-time with the Tennessee Department of Transportation – TDOT as a Right-of-Way Agent, Chief of Relocation. Several years back when the position of Financial Secretary became available, I decided to apply. I was given the position and have enjoyed the challenge! John 2:37 says “For with God nothing shall be impossible”!
