Single's Ministry

The Singles Ministry of First Baptist Church was created because of a need realized by one of the young singles in our church. It had become evident to her that in today’s society, there are few places where young, Christian singles can get together and share their life experiences with others who are the same point in their lives. Our Singles Ministry revolves around three basic things: small groups, our events, and serving.

Our Singles meet every Sunday morning at 9:30AM for Bible Study. This is a time of opening up God’s Word and learning together how biblical principles can be applied to our busy lives. We also have monthly fellowships and attend Singles Conferences throughout the State of Tennessee and surrounding areas. Lastly, we have made it our mission to reach out to the shut-ins from our church. We not only spend time in prayer for these precious people, but also make it a point to stop by and visit them whenever we can and try to brighten their day with baskets of goodies we have prepared.

If you are a young single between the ages of 20 and 35 in the Gibson County area, we invite you to join us each Sunday to laugh and learn together.
